Connect MCP
Configure production MCP connections using Streamable HTTP.
Streamable HTTP
How it works
- The MCP server runs as an HTTP service and supports concurrent clients.
- Clients communicate using standard HTTP requests and JSON-RPC.
- Suitable for remote deployment and multiple clients, such as Cursor URL connections or custom web clients.
Endpoint and authentication
- Path:
/(root) - Method:
POST(JSON-RPC requests) - Authentication: Include the API key in the HTTP
Authorizationheader:Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_MUSEDAM_API_KEY> - Region: Set the optional URL query parameter
?region=<region>; defaults tocn.
Production connection settings
Production:
{"mcpServers": {"musedam": {"url": "https://mcp-service.musedam.cc?region=overseas","headers": {"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_MUSEDAM_API_KEY"},"name": "MuseDAM"}}}
Mainland China defaults to cn and requires no query parameter. For overseas accounts, use ?region=overseas, as shown in the English example.
Configuration parameters
-
url: Server address. Set the region with
?region=xxx(optional; defaults tocn).- Values:
cn(Mainland China, default),overseas(Overseas).
- Values:
-
headers.Authorization: Required authentication in
Bearer <api_key>format.
Some clients use serverUrl instead of url. Follow your client's configuration format.
Health check
The service provides a health check endpoint for operations and load balancer probes:
- Path:
GET /health_check - Success: HTTP 200; no response body is required.
Example:
- Production:
https://mcp-service.musedam.cc/health_check
Regions and APIs
| region | Description | MuseDAM Open API Base URL |
|---|---|---|
cn | Mainland China (default) | https://open.musedam.cc/api/muse |
overseas | Overseas | https://open.musedam.ai/api/muse |
These MCP tools access MuseDAM through the Open API. HTTP methods follow the corresponding API endpoints, using Authorization: Bearer <api_key>. For MCP, configure the key and region through connection settings.
